Ashley and Emilio’s Tampa Wedding at The Vault was inspired by “historic Tampa.” Their vintage theme with shades of blush and champagne, created a classic theme throughout their wedding and in their Tampa wedding cake by The Cake Zone.
“The Mr. and I wanted a traditional wedding cake, but something that tied into our theme,” the bride explained. “The top tier was separated by a chandelier with rhinestone ribbon. The bottom tier was decorated with handmade edible fondant, marvelous lace acanthus leaf and flowers and had an edible pearl string. Everyone was talking about the cake weeks after our wedding.”
The four tiered Tampa wedding cake featured white almond flavors with one layer of white chocolate and one layer of raspberry buttercream.
“The Cake Zone is literally the best cake we’ve ever tasted! We can’t wait for our first anniversary cupcakes!” Ashley gushed.
Since Emilo is a third generation firefighter for the City of Tampa, it became a prevalent theme throughout their wedding. Each decoration on the groom’s cake was made of handmade edibles.
“The Cake Zone did a phenomenal job in creating a groom’s cake replicating his personal firefighter’s helmet, and I had a personalized axe for cutting made as a keepsake,” Ashley shared. “We had delivered the groom’s cake to my husband’s fire station prior to the honeymoon and they devoured it!”
Each detail was specifically chosen by the bride and groom to help their guests fall in love with the great city of Tampa.
“Our entire wedding day was everything that we could have ever wanted and more!” the bride gushed.
